Are your students less than enthusiastic about their homework, or complain that they can never remember anything they’ve learned once they get home? The good news is you can help them by showing them a few tools specially designed to help make homework time and lesson reviews more fun and efficient.
Our interactive tool for learning French spelling and vocabulary is practical and efficient. Available for smartphones and tablets, it lets students generate a personalized vocabulary list from a bank of 16,000 audio and written words! As a teacher, you can generate your own codes to create custom lists for your class.
Make sure to check out the Alloprof website to discover a host of other exercises to practise French and mathematics!
The Alloprof website has more than 3,000 concept sheets, many of which cover elementary school concepts. The sheets feature examples, exercises, and videos that summarize over 5000 concepts. They are a terrific resource that students find incredibly useful!
Sometimes, the best way to remember a lesson or master a subject is to have a little fun. To help your students review their lessons and learn through play, Alloprof has prepared a bunch of educational games they’re sure to enjoy:
You can use Alloprof’s Motivational Timer, either online or in your web browser! This customizable tool makes it possible to decide how much time a student will spend on each subject, depending on their needs or your expectations. Students can also choose a theme for the timer and earn mini rewards for completing each task.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth a million! The Alloprof videos were so popular with high school students, we got to work creating a batch of videos aimed at elementary school students (with more in the works, to be released soon). In four minutes or less, students can review important material or validate their knowledge by watching concept videos on the Alloprof YouTube channel (French only). This is a great learning tool, since students can pause the teacher or make them repeat what they’ve said as many times as they like.
This service is available Monday to Thursday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Students can talk to one of our 200 teachers by chat, text, or phone to get answers to their questions! Even parents are welcome! Let your students’ parents know they can contact one of Alloprof’s remedial education specialists. They’re always happy to help parents better support their children in school.
If students get stuck on a homework assignment, they can find answers in the Help Zone, a collaborative community that offers everyone the opportunity to ask questions and get quick explanations. It’s open 7 days a week! The new forum also encourages students to answer questions asked by their peers. And don’t worry—all answers are validated by an Alloprof expert.
