Final Exam | Mathematics — Secondary 1 and 2

Most schools require that their Secondary 1 and 2 students write an end-of-year exam. In most cases, the exam is made up of short answer and application questions on geometry, arithmetic, algebra, probability and/or statistics.

With the teacher's permission, it's a good idea to create a memory aid by following the standard instructions.

  • It must be handwritten on one sheet of letter-sized paper |\left(8\dfrac{1}{2}\times11\right)\!.|

  • It can be written on both sides of the paper (double-sided).

It's also important to have a calculator, ruler, set square, compass and protractor.

Tip

During the exam, even if you're not sure of the answer, it's very important to answer all the questions. Simply put, randomly answering a question is a better strategy than not answering it at all.

In addition, you should never erase your work if you do not intend to write anything else. It's better to leave something incomplete than to leave no trace at all.
